Spent 8 years at Toshiba's Research and Development Center, working on wireless communication research, the standardization of international wireless LAN standards, and semiconductor chip development, securing numerous patents. Joined the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan in 2009, focusing on investments in robotics, IT, and software in Japan and the U.S. Leveraging his engineering background, he actively contributed to improving the performance of portfolio companies, achieving multiple exits through IPOs and sales. In 2016, he joined Mistletoe and, since 2017, has served as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing investment activities across 14 countries. He has a strong network with leading investors and entrepreneurs in Japan, Silicon Valley, and Europe. He holds a master's degree from Hokkaido University Graduate School of Engineering and an MBA from GLOBIS University.
