Served as director of Alpico Holdings (2008), member of the JAL Reconstruction Task Force (2009), trustee of Willcom (2010), and deputy secretary-general of the Cabinet Secretariat Task Force for the Investigation of Tokyo Electric Power Company's Management and Financial Affairs (2011).
