Founder BIO

Graduated from the Department of Geosystem Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo in 1999. He studied derivatives at university and began his career in the market division of a Japanese financial institution. In 2000, he moved to UBS Securities and worked in equity derivatives trading. In 2015, he left the financial industry to start his own business. While traveling between Japan and Silicon Valley for work and meeting many entrepreneurs, he wanted to commit more broadly to the growth of the industry as a whole, so he founded Globe Advisors Inc. in 2016. In 2021, he established Globe Advisors Ventures LLP, which specializes in venture investments. To date, he has invested in a wide range of fields, including not only internet-related services but also manufacturing and non-internet-related businesses.
