In 1999, he joined NTT Docomo, where he handled corporate sales, business planning, and venture investments. In 2011, he joined Mixi, where he worked on alliances and business acquisitions. In 2013, he launched iMercury Capital and became Vice President, later becoming the CEO of the company in 2015. In 2019, he founded W. Notable investments include FIVE (acquired by LINE in 2017), Raksul (IPO in 2018), Pocket Concierge (acquired by AMEX in 2019), Rakumo (IPO in 2020), Creema (IPO in 2020), and Monokabu (acquired by SODA in 2021). Recently, his son has started playing mini basketball.
